GOALS
Initially,
NASLIN established the following goals:
1.To
facilitate communication and resource sharing among sports
librarians, archivists, and information specialists through
conferences, educational programs and other cooperative
projects.
2.To
communicate with related organizations, nationally and
internationally regarding cooperative projects and programs.
These organizations include, the International Association
for Sports Information, Canadian Association for Sports
Heritage, and the International Association of Sports
Museums and Halls of Fame.
